Reports & Policies
Sherborne Prep has a range of policies in place to guide daily life and support our whole community.
These help shape decisions and actions across the school, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and inspired to explore their strengths. Our aim is to give every pupil the chance to grow in confidence and develop the skills they need for a happy, fulfilling life. These policies ensure and endorse the wellbeing of all children, staff, volunteers and everyone who is connected to Sherborne Prep. They provide consistency amongst staff, parents and children.
Inspection Reports & Reviews
The school is regularly inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
Our most recent ISI inspection (January 2026) confirmed that all relevant Standards were met - the highest outcome available under the current framework.
Inspectors noted that:
Leaders place pupils' wellbeing at the centre of school life... individual pupils are valued.... They model and establish nurturing relationships with pupils to develop a genuine sense of belonging within a caring environment...Pupils develop positive relationships with each other, showing care and consideration for their peers, as well as pupils outside of their own year group.
