A Grand Day at Sherborne Prep - Grandparents’ Day Brings Generations Together
This week Sherborne Prep was treated to the gentlest of invasions as over 130 friends, relatives and a strong phalanx of grandparents stormed (in the happiest possible way) fort Sherborne Prep in search of a slice of cake and a decent pot of tea. Splitting into small groups of pupil and relative, they took part in (took over?) all classes, proving just how educated and intelligent they were, and just how close to the tree the apples continue to fall.
Reward for their endeavours came in a concert of acting, choirs, readings and chocolate eclairs, currant buns, a variety of teas, sandwiches (both triangular and finger, to placate both camps) and tea cakes.
They left happy, replete and having dispensed much wisdom to the school. A victory all round!
